How to Make Beef Stewed With Tomatoes and Potatoes By a Pressure Cooker?

Using pressure cookers can help make many kinds of delicious food. This article is going to share how to make beef stewed with tomatoes and potatoes by using pressure cookers.

Before using food pressure cooker, prepare the beef, seasoning and matched vegetable.

Seasoning: scallions, ginger, laurel leaf, star anise, cinnamon, salt, sugar, sunflower seed oil, and black pepper.

Matched vegetable: tomatoes and potatoes.

Step 1: Cut the beef into pieces, and use boiled water to wash off the meat residue and blood and place them in a bowl.

Step 2: Prepare all the above ingredients and peel the potatoes.

Step 3: Heat the kitchen pressure cooker, pour in a little sunflower oil to smooth the bottom (beef has oil, so a little oil will be enough).  Add the scallions, ginger, laurel leaves and cinnamon into pressure cooker until they give off attractive aroma.

Step 4: Pour in the beef pieces and stir them, then add a can of beer (the beer can serve as water and cooking wine).

Step 5: Close the cover of pressure cooker and adjust to strong heat to raise the pressure of pressure cooker. Thanks to the good heat conduction and uniformity of the pressure cooker, the aroma of the beef will soon come out.

Step 6: Wait. In the process of waiting, it can be found that the pressure gradually increases. When the temperature is high enough, the fire can be turned down to a small level to ensure a certain temperature and pressure.

Step 7: Since the beef is almost softened and easy to bite now, add the chopped potatoes and simmer for another 3 minutes.

Step 8: After 3 minutes, put a little thick gravy into the pressure cooker, toss the tomatoes and add freshly ground black pepper to enhance the aroma.

Step 9: Serve up to the plate. Then you can enjoy the delicious beef stewed with tomatoes and potatoes.
